VANCOUVER, Canada – February 1st, 2007 – Russell Breweries Inc. (TSX.V:RB) is pleased to announce that new equipment has been ordered to effectively double the size of it’s brewery located in Strawberry Hills, Surrey, British Columbia. The order includes a bottling line and a canning line to be installed for a summer release of its products in the retail market.

“This is a significant expansion for the Company” said Andrew Harris, President and COO. “In addition to being on-tap at their favourite pub or restaurant, consumers will be able to enjoy Russell beer in the comfort of their own homes”.

The Company was acquired by current management in January 2004 and in three years has grown from a brewing capacity of 2000 to 8000hl per year in draught keg sales exclusively. This next expansion will increase the brewing capacity to 16000hl.
